Daren Wang

Daren Wang is a writer, public radio producer, and social entrepreneur. He co-founded the AJC-Decatur Book Festival in 2005 and served as its executive director until 2017. He produced Porches: The South & Her Writers, Between The Lines, ArtVoice, and The Spoken Word for public radio. In 2005 he launched Verb: An Audioquarterly, Which was named one of the best five new magazines of the year by Library Journal. 

His writing has appeared in Paste Magazine, Five Points Magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, AJC Travel, The Saporta Report, ArtsATL and others.The Hidden Light of Northern Fires is his first novel.

He is currently producing This Postage Stamp of Native Soil, an oral history project of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. He is co-founder of the Trifoliate Award Dinners, debuting in Autumn 2021.
